This project involved the highly specialised construction of a new mental health facility as part of the Nepean Hospital Development. The Centre has capacity for 64 beds and replaces the 33-bed ‘Pialla’ unit at Nepean Hospital. The Centre includes 44 beds in the acute and high dependency units and the capacity to deliver specialist mental health care for older people in a new unit which includes a 20-bed ward and outpatient program.
