We're excited to introduce a new monthly feature, where we'll be shining a spotlight on our amazing team members who contribute so much to our success. This month, we're proud to highlight Gary Read, affectionately known as Skinny, our Leading Hand at the Surry Hills Village project.
Gary started with Planet Plumbing in 2012 when he was brought across by the godfather, Tone Barber. Since then, Skinny has been the tip of the spear for our site teams, working on projects such as Erko Apartments 1 & 2, Harold Park Apartments, UNSW Bioscience Stage 2, MLC, Loftus Street, and Surry Hills Village.
His knowledge is invaluable. His experience is extensive. His dedication is unquestionable. A true unicorn of the construction plumbing game, Skinny is the go-to person for solving head-scratching problems on site. The common phrases among the troops are, "Let's ask Skinny" or "What does Skinny think?"
Your loyalty and hard work do not go unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for your contributions.
Let's also wish Skinny a very happy 50th birthday next Tuesday!
